Bought the touchpad to give touch screen like feel to a desktop pc running windows 8. It works beautifully, an excellent way to control the the OS, the gestures being the main improvement over a mouse. Task switching etc is just like on a touch screen, only default setting I changed is right clicking, now set as two finger tapping. The gestures take some getting used to, but worth the learning curve. The charge states it lasts a month, which I have yet to check out. A first class inputting device.

Review 2 for Wireless Rechargeable Touchpad T650
Prefer it to a mouse
Date:07 March 2013
Bought this mainly to use when I've installed Windows 8 as I don't have a touch-screen but have been using it quite happily on Windows 7 in the meantime and prefer it to a mouse. For years I've used a trackball in place of a mouse due to concerns over RSI but now prefer this and have no wrist ache at all when used with a wrist support. It's like having an extra large laptop touchpad but to the side of the keyboard so it doesn't get in the way and gestures are great.
Zooming in or out when you don't intend to can be an inconvenience at times and getting used to and using your thumb to "click" whilst "dragging" with a finger to select text takes a little getting used to. You also have to remember to tap the bottom right-corner to right-click.
The specifications suggest battery life can be up to a month depending upon usage - but I find it's more like 3-4 days when used 7-8 hours per day.

the pad works great when it works but hangs up to often which becomes extremely frustrating. This one is going to be shelved or returned and I have ordered another Logitech anywhere mx mouse which is still the best I have ever owned and works great on windows 8 with touch screen.
