A great little keyboard and performance-wise I'm very happy with it, but what logitech don't show you is that the entire rear panel is this horrible in-your-face orange!!! Seriously...black...maybe brushed aluminium...

I have had this product in constant use for just under 2 years. I use it as an alternative laptop when using the PC as a media hub and I don't want to be tied to the desk.
Look at it! This is a really beautiful piece of design, and equally beautiful and quality materials - that's real brushed alluminium and GLASS fascia! I wanted something functional that would look sat on the coffee table in the living room, and this ticks all relevant boxes for me.
Reading other reviews, I can't say I have had any wear and tear issues, but I must admit, mine is not used constantly. I have experienced the sssssssticking keys occasionally, but this has never been an issue big enough to cause concern. Battery life is phenominal and I would verify that I can reach well over 2 weeks between charges. I have not actually let it run down as yet.
The trackpad has taken some getting used to. It is NOT a mouse replacement... don't expect to be able to do complex operations with it. For general navigation it is very suitable, and there are a few tracking abilities (such as scroll clockwise/anticlockwise for up/down scroll) which are very user friendly.
Summary - BUY IT, you won't be dissapointed!

Unfortunately this keyboard hasn't lasted. I've had it for 2 and a half years, so a fair while, but not given the cost. It hasn't seen much more than occasional use, and I have always been careful to charge it, but it now drops its connection regularly making it barely usable, and frankly infuriating. Up until now, however, it has been a pleasure to use, one of the genuinely nicest bits of tech i have owned. I found the track pad a little hard to use, but that's just track pads. The battery life in brilliant and it charges in no time. I would recommend only if you are willing to replace it in a few years, but not if you think something this price should last until you throw it out of a window.
PS, i know of two other owners of this product who have experienced similar issues after a similar period.

Hi all,
I have this keyboard since 2008. In general for me only the better keyboard is in laptops like Sony Vaio Z :P
I like it for: - Design: I love it. I prefer mice than numpad (because I don't use it). It's shorter than normal keyboard, so easier to transport. - Ergonomics: Thanks for scissor-switch technology it's very ergonomic. - Battery: I use it every day more than 4 hours and for 3 years. So now it still work 1-2 month with one charge.
So I like this keyboard so much. His cost is higher than other keyboards but it's worth :))

Hi all,
This keyboard is quite nice gadget. Expensive, but brings smile on the face once switched on.
Very ergonomic, quiet, easy programmable function buttons.
Pad works very accurate, easy usage of left, right mouse button replacement, and so simple solution as left mose click, zoom, and volume features.
Perfect for laptop when screen plugged to TV, fully replace keyboard and mouse together.
Light and long battery life. 15min wil last for month if average user.
Recommended. Would only lower the price.

Firstly, the last reviewer said, "has the EDGE over other keyboards". Funny, a little cheesy, but oh so true. This is an expensive keyboard for sure. But definitely worth every penny in this man's opinion.
It is most suited to someone who wants to be a bit mobile while using his/her awesome PC or HTPC or whatever. For example, you can pick up the keyboard and retreat to your ultra comfy sofa and watch your dvds, do your work, browse the web or even play games from a comfortable distance. Needless to say, this gets better the bigger the screen and the comfier the couch.
Point is, the range on this keyboard is excellent. And it is very responsive for the most part. It's got plenty of media buttons and programmable keys to make watching videos etc easy and fast. And the little touch pad is the best part. You don't have to take your mouse with you, you can control everything on your PC from one sleek platform. Obviously not as good as a real mouse, but when you're away from the desk, it's more than sufficient. Not to mention the thing is solid, but not too heavy and comfortable to use on a desk, on your lap, even on your pet's head. Sometimes I even use it while walking around and typing with one hand (like that guy in the 007 stealth ship).
Now a few issues for me: 1. No numpad. Usually not a problem, but if you ever need to use a numpad for work or whatever, you'll need to buy an extra one. I got the wireless logitech numpad. 2. To use the media keys and programmable keys, you have to hold down a Fn key (like with a laptop). It would be nice if there was an option to toggle Fn on/off rather than having to hold it down. Otherwise you have to reach a bit to use the function keys with one hand. 3. Every now and then, the keyboard signal sticks for a few secounds so you might get rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrepeat characters while typing. Probably related to distance and interference. Not a huge problem for me except when I play games and it gets stuck on w and I run off a cliff. 4. Finally, after 3 years of use (yes it is that old and STILL I have not seen a better keyboard on offer), the aluminium palm rest is showing signs of wear and what I think may be small spots of oxidation. Not really a problem. It's metal and metal gets tarnished if you don't clean it.
So in conclusion, if you can afford it, you should buy it. You will definitely not regret it.

When you first open the packaging and see the keyboard for the frist time your stuck buy its modern yet some how claissic desgin. I have a feeling that my grandkids will look back at this with view of it being a design classic.
Unlike others the diNovo Dege dosn't try to be somthing its not , its not retro, its not modern it just looks great and works just as wll.
At this stage I should point out that I'm sing the keyboard to serf the net from my PC which is hocked up to my TV - for this reason I'm not fussed that its not got a side number keydboard - or the face that the control pad on the right had side (which has a cool bacl light) is a little on the small side.
You not going to bu this keyboard for real office work that heavey into to Excell or even gaming - thereare better products out there.
You are going to buy this product beacuse its got brillaint build quailty, looks great in the home, feels great to use and in short is a design great.
I would recommend this keyboard to all my friends and familiy, those who have alreday seen and used it are going out to pick one up as soon at there can - I think that says it all.
