i bought this joystick for use with battlefield 3 , and i have to say im very dissapointed by it , it has too much of a dead zone in it. you have to make very extreme ajustments to get any response at all and the biggest flaw of all is that you cannont twist it to control the rudder , this effectively makes it useless , it might be ok for use on a flight sim game but for games with combat jets its useless

HI i bought this specifically or playing battlefield 3, yes its a nice joystick feels good to use and control, well made etc, but the one thing that lets it down the most is like said above, you cannot twist the stick, I didn't relise this was a problem until I tried to fly and dog fight in battlefield 3, it works well but you just can't line your sights up well or turn properly and quickly once flying, therefore its pointless having this joystick to fly any plane its just impossible. I would reconmend getting the extreme pro logitech joystick for this game and not wasting your money like I have on this one, the extreme is only a £10 more I wish I had done this in the first place!!!! But hey ho im new to flying.

You cannot twist this joystick left and right; therefore it is impossible to 'yaw' an aeroplane with this product - this makes flying an aeroplane virtually impossible.
