It's a brilliant wheel, makes racing a lot more enjoyable!
Except in some ways, it's like the Wii... You get it out of the box and play it like crazy for a week, but leave it for 2 months before using it agian (my case anyway).
It also makes a pretty loud noise when you steer... and it's apparently 10x easier to drive in real life, which lets down the whole 'realism' idea.
Don't get me wrong though, if you want a racing wheel this is definitely the one to get... It has pretty much everything you can ask for and it is very good. :)

This wheel is amazing it has extremely responsive feed back helping you feel every lump and dip in a track. I am using it with gt5 and it is easily as good as a Logitech G27 which I've used before the only difference I can see is the force feedback is stronger on the G27 everything else feels the same. If your looking for a great wheel that won't break the bank this is for you! Also quick tip for gt5 users in the controller setting turn power steering off and you get stronger feedback.

My previous wheel, Formula Force EX, developed a fault and Logitech kindly sent me the Driving Force GT as a replacement - which was a nice upgrade!
The difference between the two is like night and day. The quality, accuracy and build quality is light years ahead of my old wheel. It's also not as noisy as the FF EX, which my wife is pleased about!
Not sure why other people have said it's problematic with Windows - I installed the latest software available from the site and it was instantly recognised by games like F1 2010 with all the buttons pre-configured (something I had to do manually with the FF EX - a wheel ostensibly FOR the PC).
When playing F1 2010 my lap times improved instantly - probably because of the larger wheel allowing more accurate control, and the wheel itself having more accuracy. The force feedback also seems improved over the FF EX, I can feel the back stepping out much better.

Be warned! This wheel is a dog's dinner for PC! I can't dispute apparent build quality. Feels solid and looks the part. However, unless you get a kick out of manually altering config files within the program installation files every time and still being unable to steer then keep your money in your pocket. For PS3 and Gran Turismo fans only. I strongly suggest a few Google searches for PC issues with this wheel and all will be revealed. Going back to store for a refund!

Its, no where near as fast as the G25, and G27, I'm speaking on the Formula 1 game on PS3. Dont know about other PS3 Racing games. But in all a good wheel for the price, just not competitive compared to the 25's and 27's

This is one of the best buy's i have made yet. I do recomend using a strip of velcrow at the back of the base so it is alot more sturdyer on the table ect... it wont move at all. this is the best steering wheel for the price as the force feed back really helps the game's grow on you.

this is a great wheel, ive never used one before and this is so simple to get the hang of. it clamps on to any flat surface which is a bonus if you dont have a stand. theres even grips on the bottom of the peddles so they dont slip .would recomend to anyone.

Wow, this wheel is mad when the force feedback is up to %100, on DiRT2 and GT5 it really is brilliant and performs so well. One thing is that it makes noise when turning the wheel at speed because there is a motor inside. Other than that i love this wheel.
This can be used without a gaming chair or table to mount it. I found Wheel Stand Pro (google it if you want) which holds it up and doesn't take the space of a full set or table.

Got this to play GT5, thanks to the delay have gone back to my playstation 2, to play GT4 (dont have prologue, didn't see the point buying it when it came out as thought it was just an extended demo. No point buying it now so close to GT5.). Has been a real learning curve but well worth it. Can't say my times are any faster but getting far more enjoyment out of the game and cant wait for GT5. Force feed back is good, if you have the car set up properly there is a lot less, (this is good as you are not fighting the wheel). best example is the last test of the international A lisence with the Le Mans style GT1 car, 230mph along a non-racing road the wheel was going "mental" had to hold it so hard just to keep in a straight line arms were starting to get sore, after 5 or 6 attempts.
Was always of the opinion that wheels were for the die hards but after using this really do believe that if you want to really enjoy a racing game you need to have a wheel.
Has great attachments for table but am ordering a stand for it to give a more comfortable driving position.
As a first time wheel user this has everything i need and then some, great peice of kit can thoroughly recommend to anybody getting their first wheel.

the steering wheel is really comfortable to use and can be clamped on almost any table or mount and is also very stable when clamped. when you drive in games like GT5, you really feel the force feedback and i love to put the force feedback on maximum so i can really feel everything in all its realism. the traction loss is annoying because you lose all grip of the track and its very hard to correct yourself in such situations so that aspect of realism is spot-on. i would recommend this steering wheel for people who don't have the money for a G25/27 who want a good affordable steering wheel. you can get this steering wheel for 60-120 pounds, depending where you get it from (i got it for £60 from amazon)
