I purchased this keyboard from a retailer, at first I thought this looks great. The problem is that it only looks great, it doesn't perform/work very well.
In total I've had three of these.
The First keyboard had a very squeaky spacebar and backspace so I rma'd it.
The Second keyboard had a squeaky backspace and a dodgy mute button, the mute button had no feedback if you know what i mean, when you pressed the key it felt as if it was broken. I also noticed the keys required a bit of pressure before they worked, so I sent it back and got a replacement.
Third keyboard arrives, and this one had all the issue's mentioned above but worse.
The keys require a lot of pressure before they worked, the spacebar was squeaky, back space was okish, the mute button felt like it was broken, so not a good experience so far.
The last keyboard was a nightmare, it was quite hard to play fps games since the wasd keys were shocking.
Anyway I've send the third one back for a refund. After reading more user reviews on the internet I can see im not the only one with this issue.

An upgrade from the G15

Overall its a nice keyboard with great functionality, my only problem is the function/program key is faulty so I will need to send back!

Marvellous piece of kit

Logitech are onto a winner with this bit of kit, everything on it is right, the screen, the keys, the style, everything! What I love most is the customisability, the apps on the screen, the colour of the keys, the usb ports even the palmrest!
As it is a gaming keyboard it performs extremely well in games as you would expect, this is just the main keys im talking about, not the screen, not the G keys, just the qwerty itself, then factor in the screen, 12 g keys, game mode (cuts off windows key) media controls, volume wheel and on the fly macro recording, jog on razer, sell up now and walk away whilst you still can!
1 year on typing with this very keyboard (and a G9x mouse) they are still going strong, no problems (hardware or software) keys are still intact, i.e. no rubbing off of letters (lololol lycosa)
The only downsides i can think off are one major, and one minor, the major being the price, bit steep but overall i think it is worth it.
And secondly, my laptop (shes a beast) struggles to process a lot of apps on screen, and in game at once, so thats just me, but it holds up well albeit for a dual core. you quad core boys and gals out there will have no problem!

If you like tech, and shiny things, this is the keyboard for you.
it lights up any colour you like, and can be scripted to smoothly cycle through colours.. it also features a screen that can be used for watching youtube videos, or streaming a security camera, or tv card (with a little work setting it up)

Would be great if it worked.

This would be a great keyboard, except for the software keeps causing the LCD screen to flash randomly on and off and the software to loose all the LCD programs, Logitech swear blind it's not their fault, but it seems to be a very widespread problem.
Recent software update fixed the disappearing programs, but not the screen flashing.

Love the colour LCD display with its own buttons, the g buttons for macrosand stuff also the gaming mode slider.
Best of all the keys glow and you choose the colour!
The multimeida keys dont work on the programs in the background though so u need to constantly be on the application, at least for vlc you do.
Another shame id my M3 button doesnt work to change profiles, not a common problem though, i just assigned my g1 key to be the m3 key as well.

To be honest, the keyboard itself is beautiful! Feels much more solid than my old G15. Absolutely no problems with it as of yet.
Regrettably i do have a problem with the software in a couple of ways:
Firstly, the LCD panel software just randomly decided it only wanted to show me the profile selector and windows sideshow. The software no longer shows any more "programs" i can run on the LCD screen. This is absolutely rubbish!
and Secondly, There is a real lack of user created apps that run on the LCD. I would really like to see somebody make use of the screen with popular games like call of duty, or any other games than world of warcraft!
