i was looking for a replacement for my old "tinny" sounding speakers. i read a few reviews and the logitech speakers appeared to fit the bill. other peoples reviews told stories about how powerful and loud these speakers are. they are not wrong! the sound quality is wonderful. you can hear them all aound the house. my p.c. is upstairs in our third bedroom, and even when i have the speakers on at a moderate level, the music can still be heard all around the house.

I bought these speakers as a cheap, temporary alternative to go with my new 28" desktop until I purchased better quality ones.
I couldn't have been more shocked! The sound is pure, crisp and fills the room. Also - talk about loud! As said in earlier reviews I have had to turn the bass right down as to not disturb the entire street! Don't get me wrong though, the sound coming out of these speakers even when turned down low is impressive and so clear.
Altogether an amazing purchase especially for the price - well impressed.

I tried this system instore and was very impressed with the sound quality compared to more expensive alternatives.
I wanted a relatively low cost product for an apartment we will only be in for a short spell as I expected to have to buy a better system for a bigger space. However so far that may not be necessary! We can only play it at about 60% capacity otherwise it's too loud for an apartment so I am confident it will be ideal for a small house.
I like the plain clean design lines and the wires coming out the rear instead of the side as on some product. The ability to plug your mp3 direct to the unit as well as to the side of one speaker also gives flexibility.
TIP: If you have wooden floors as we do put the sub woofer on a couple of magazines to maintain the rich sound and prevent any "tinny" bounce off the floor.
Great sound and great value for money!
Highly recommended.

I bought these in October and when i got them home the sub woofer was making a strange noise but curry's swapped them and now they work fantastic. i bought these expecting average sound but to my amazement there are much better than my £150 ipod speakers and the bass is just exceptional. my only disappointment is i cant listen to the speakers with the bass on full because it disturbs the rest of the family. best speakers I have ever bought!!!

I purchased these because a friend of mine has them and he recommended them to me. I wanted something to replace my ancient 2.0 speakers and decided for these because they are recommended for gamers.
The speakers are tilted upwards slightly to blast the sound towards you and out to the rest of the room. They also have a speaker located at the back for more dynamic sound. The speakers are very powerful and gives a very clear sound. The subwoofer is very powerful and I sometimes even need to switch it off because I don't want to disturb the neighbours too much (I live in a flat).
The design is sleek, although perhaps a bit plastic to some, with their shiny surface. The only downside I can come up with is they could be a bit tricky to clean from dust and the paper bit on the speakers are fully exposed. I wouldn't touch them in risk of damaging them, so if you have kids it might be something to have in mind.
