All I wanted and more
Date:30 September 2012
Pros: Backlight on every marked key from blue to red and any shade between. Media controls. Headphone and USB port direct from keyboard. Good feel to the keys. Software auto-detects and configures the required profiles. A smart looking keyboard and comfortable keyboard.
Cons: Headphone cut-off key does not return sound to the speakers. The 'G' keys are very close to the 'normal' keys and would have been better if they were recessed or just further away but some judicious re-programming has prevented mistakes on my part.
For the price, this is an excellent keyboard and I am really pleased with it.

best keyboard i ever had
Date:21 February 2012
i have only just recently got into pc gaming and a friend of mine advised em to get this keyboard so i looked around but bought this one, it turns out it was a great decision as it works perfectly, lots of extra keys and the way it connects to the media player like itunes ect is extremely useful, plus the volume scroller and the deactivate windows key, i found it extremely useful and i would definatly recomend it to friends

Worst logitech experience.
Date:12 January 2011
This product is the biggest dissapointment in my life. It is probably the worst keyboard when looking from a users point of view. This keyboard will randomly shut itself on and off and get your keys stuck. There is nothing that can be done about this if you have a 780i or x58 based motherboard. And ofcourse, there was no information regarding this when I bought it. Until recently the keyboard just stops working entirely! The main driver (G-series key profiler) stops working properly and cannot be terminated either through task manager or through cmd.exe. Which means you HAVE to restart your pc, since replugging doesn't do anything. The keyboard has quality in terms of build but most certantly NOT in use. Biggest dissapointment, I expected this to be as half as good as my mx518 mouse or my logitech usb microphone, well it was NOT. Again it might work fine for you on your x58 or 7x9i motherboard, but it certantly is not on mine. Logitech claimst that this is not the keyboards fault but your motherboard which is just fantastic until you find out after you buy this instead of BEFORE.

G110 on a Mac

Nice keyboard over all but have some issues.
Important:
• For use on a Mac you need to keep the G-Key Profiler Software open in order for them to work. • Some buttons are not fully lit because of the lights are misaligned under keys.
Not so important:
• No option for switching the ALT and windows keys to match Mac layout, but you can around that by changing it in your preferences. • Keys lights could be brighter. • No partial lighting, only full keyboard same color. • I wish it had is for the color to be RGB (full spectrum) instead of just RED & BLUE mix.
So... based on the "Important" issues, i'm debating on returning it.
I'll work with it for a few more days and see.

The one thing I gotta get used to is the placement of the M keys but other than that the keys feel very real, and not like some other pieces of junk Ive used.

Great Concept - Hopeless Implementation
Date:09 October 2010
I have many Logitech products none have ever given cause for complaint. I don't play games but I do use CAD where programmable keys can be useful so yesterday I purchased a Logitech G110 Keyboard for that facility. But what a disappiontment! The programmable keys are fine but the keyboard is virtually unuseable because whoever designed it forgot to consider that when keys are to be backlit the characters [when not illuminated] will show as greyish translucent plasic against black instead of white printed on black. That makes them difficult to read. This could easily have been solved by making the characters larger than usual but they are about the size we complain about on mobile 'phones. And then there is the backlighting, red and blue may be pretty colours but they don't contrast well against black. And then there's the illumination! Sadly, like it's designer, it is rather dim so in daylight it is useless and in artificial light very little better The only keys readily visible [but not in daylight] are the yellow/amber M1 M2 M3 keys. A little thought about colour, contrast, illumination level and character size could have made the G110 an excellent, albeit rather expensive, keyboard but sadly nobody bothered. Unless you work in the dark with a dim monitor this keyboard is insultingly useless. Please excuse any typing errors but I'm trying to use a brand new G110 keyboard which is just about to go where it belongs IN THE BIN! Sorry Logitech! I hope you have better luck with your next keyboard designer!

This is a great keyboard but has some downs
Date:27 July 2010
i've gotta say that this keyboard is really good. Lets start with the Ergonomics : It's not the best but it works, the keys are comfortable and curve perfectly for your fingers but the wrist support needs some work, too flimsy and plastic, i would prefer a rubber finish on the wrist pad but that's alright for the price. Everything is placed out comfortably except that i'm not use to the G keys so i sometimes press them by accident which causes problems sometimes. There is much to be desired though when it comes to the arrow keys, since u have a curve on the wrist pad for your hand but when you put your hand to the arrow keys, your wrist falls off the wrist pad and actually makes you curve your hand which makes it uncomfortable. I like how there's a tad of good finish on the keyboard so it's not slippery like a lot of generic keyboards. Though the keys are a bit small and my hand is a bit big, it still feels comfortable to use sometimes. The elevated F# keys can sometimes get uncomfortable to reach for since they're elevated and your hand isn't so it makes you reach, and some people might not use the F# keys but i do and sometimes it's annoying to reach for them and press the wrong one. Another thing about the keyboard that pet peeves me is the elevation of the keyboard itself, where the clips come off and you can elevate it higher for more comfort but in this case the elevation is almost non-existent since the elevation is such a small amount. Sometimes i wish i could elevate it more so i have to figure out a way to use a piece of paper and some rubber so that it doesn't slip off. Ergonomics : 7/10
Features : The features are great but there are a few weirdly placed things such as, since you can't see the headphone and Mic jack, logitech should have placed them right on where the buttons are so they'd be able to put them in even in the dark but they put this like 1 inch over so in the dark it's confusing to put it in. The windows key disabler is a great option as i always press that key when gaming. Although there is colors between blue and red and make shades of purple, there is a lot to be desired when it comes down to the brightness of it and the other colors that allows more customization. The G keys are a good plus and the M1, M2, and M3 is a good option there but i'd like to customize other keys too such as the media keys that only work with the window that's option and sometimes when i'm using itunes i don't want to have to switch between windows to turn it off when logitech should have already made it automatic when the music player is open those keys should just configure to it and when pressed, the media player should react. I like the mute buttons for the volume and for the headphone and for the mic, gives it a lot of options to choose from when it comes to the audio, like sometimes when i need to start talking to someone i just turn off the headphones and my friend talks to me. Also when you're playing in the daylight you dont really need to waste energy on lighting up the keyboard so they have a button right beside the power cord to turn off the light which i really like cause i dont really need it in the day unless it's dark or cloudy outside. Another feature i somewhat enjoy is the USB port in the back, although it needs more power to work with even charging an ipod touch it still gives availability for a headphone that uses USB or a mouse. People might think they won't need it for either of these but you will if you go to someone else's and the computer is at the bottom and you dont wanna go back and forth to reach and plug in a mouse and then later unplug it etc, you get the availability to just plug it into the keyboard. Finally the volume scroller is awesome, i use it when i use headphones and makes things much faster then other keyboards becuase they are usually press this i could just flip my finger and it'll start rolling. Features : 9/10
Quality : This is a sturdy keyboard for sure, i have not had a single problem with it so far except for the wrist pad which is really flimsy compared to the whole design of the keyboard itself and needs work. The entire keyboard could probably be thrown to the side and bashed up a little and still work, the quality of this keyboard is 9/10 as the wrist pad is flimsy.
Performance : This keyboard has never missed a stroke on me whenever i use it. I've always had responsive and active strokes come up and never missed except when i was holding the key and i let up too easy and it pops back up but other then that it's great. The keys are a little harder to press though and there's more travel but still great performance. 9/10
