I use my laptop in the lounge room, dining room, kitchen and bedroom. This lapdesk is comfortable no matter how I am sitting/laying down/standing up. The speakers are of good quality and the cooling fan, I have found to be, pretty efficient. It is now my laptops permanent resting place.

I bought this for my MacBook Pro 15" and it's awesome.
The fan could be more stronger. It doesn't cool down my mac that much. And it's not very good for long use, my wrist isn't that comfortable :/ But besides this it's a very good and solid product. I would recommend it. And the sound is amazing.
In the future, in a revised product, it would be nice to include 2 extra USB ports. Mac users would appreciate it.

it's really good and high quality product.the sound is awesome.i have z5500 and i dont use it now :) it's joke of course z5500 is awesome too. i suggest all of my friends and family to buy it.

it's a good product, the cooler system is great and the speakers are amazing, but it's really heavy, and may put a lot pressure on your legs..

When The lapdesk was eventually delivered (had problems with the courier) we eagerly unpacked it and set it up right away.
My husband did the testing and he was raving about it! He said that the sound quality was exceptional and it was comfortable on his lap.
Very simple to set up and use and the features are superb.
I would definitely recommend this lapdesk to family and friends, and my husband said he would recommend it to his trucker friends as well, because it makes watching movies in his cab so much better.
Definitely 5 stars!!

This product is brilliant for listening to music and watching videos online. Don't get me wrong, it's not as good as putting through an amp and speakers, but the quality is very good. It's very comfortable and easy to use. Highly recommended.

Fan is absolutely silent. Love the little clip on the side to hold the USB cord. I use it to hold my mouse cord out of the way. Sound is much better than my Laptops, but I wish it had a sub woofer. Speaker covers are removable for cleaning. Bonus! Wish it came in Black.

My first glace at the product was how stylish it is, then when i used it i was suprised as to how sturdy my laptop was when on it. It makes typing alot easier as it is slightly slanted and i dont need to worry about heated thighs after a couple of hours as the added fan is brilliant and very silent. I absolutly love the speakers as i always watch shows and movies and normally the quality of sound is too low, but his product enhances the sound considerbly and makes my veiwing experiance that little more cinematic. Great and useful buy which will get alot of usage.

I can't fault this bit of kit - every laptop owner should have one. The sound is excellent, it's really comfortable and simple to use. I'm a golden oldie and a complete numpty with technology and even I had it up and running within ten minutes of opening the box. Well done, Logitech!

Got this from Amazon and have to say it's much better than I ever imagined. Considering only powered by USB ports the sound is good quality, not lacking in volume and has good tone. Easy install, XP/Vista finds and loads software as plug and play straight away.
Although there are controls for volume up/down and mute on the unit you can in fact still use any controls on your laptop also should you wish. Fan is quiet and surprisingly powerful. Even better, hidden in the settings that can be accessed via the computers control panel in Vista/XP/W7 are to be found seperate bass and treble controls so more tweaking of the sound is possible.
One problem found was that on one laptop I own (HP Pavilion DV1110EM) with Vista, the unit needed the bit rate lowering otherwise the sound distorted, crackled and broke up continually. The instructions could be better in this regard as to the less technical user the unit might be considered faulty when in fact it's a simple configuration issue.
Oh yes, and as others have remarked, the fan is very quiet yet powerful considering only USB power source.
Highly recommended, transforms ordinary laptop sound and the design looks classy too.
In fact my son saw it, connected his own laptop to it and immediately ordered another for himself!!
Get it!!
