I tried this in the shop and the soft spongy wrist rest and the soft keys felt natural and a joy to type with. Got them home and they were easy to install and work with my PC and laptop. The mouse was impressive and the fast scrolling was excellent. I have just typed a 2.5K word essay and it was a joy. The extra function keys are useful and I have programmed some to open my useful sites. Great and I look forward to non-clunky typing even if it might wear the letters off lol

Letters come off, poor quality
Date:02 March 2013
2nd MK710 keyboard bought. Letters wore off the keys on the first one after a year, ditto the second one even quicker. Shame, good keyboard spoilt by poor quality.

Less productive on this combo
Date:07 January 2013
The mouse was barely usable when on a slightly glossy wood finish desk top. Had to use a mouse pad until I returned it and went for an MX Performance mouse which works flawlessly on the same surface.
The keyboard was the biggest letdown. True the keys were feeling great, but my productivity dropped until the point I had to constantly look at the keys for fear I wouldn't make a mistake. It is very easy to miss-type, as the keys have a very low profile, are very close to one another, and provide no feedback at all. The multimedia keys sometimes were also very laggy.
My advice: stay away from this product.

Suspect quality

The 'A' key sticks badly which is very annoying and does not reflect the standard of quality that I expect from an expensive product

Solid piece of kit.

I bought this with a Dell PC after having several Logitech items over the years. Out of the box it was easy to install and has worked flawlessly for several months. The keyboard has a very good feel and I like the layout. It is not overburdened with extra keys, but has multimedia controls and nice 'Calculator' key beside numeric keypad.Rubber wrist rest is just right. The mouse is excellent with a nice heavy feel and great 'handshape'. I love the freewheel scroll wheel which allows acceleration of zoom in certain applications. The USB receiver is so small it can be tricky to remove from certain USB sockets, but unnless you are moving regularly this is no problem. Overall, probably the best mouse I have ever had and the keyboard is up ther too. 9/10.
