In order to be understood in the right way, my friends consider me as an audiophile and they are not far from the truth: I love to listen to music, I am not an easy guy in what sound performance is concerned and have had through the years some nice piece of audio/hifi equipment, from Bowers & Wilkins floorstanders paired with a valve amplifier from Audio Research, Sonus Faber floorstanders paired with a Jamis amplifier, being that now on my living room, I have for about 10 years a duo from Copland – a valve pre-amp + a power amplifier with 125 watts/channel, - which is connected via Transparent Reference XL audio cables to a pair of ProAc’s D15. Great sound, clear and powerful sound I get from a minimalist setup. No bass or treble adjusts, only volume! And I like it !
As I like to have a stereo setup in almost every room in the house, kitchen included and being that I am always computer dependent due to my work, besides an excellent mini hifi I have from Yamaha, I decided to buy some computer speakers for some other rooms. I had for some years a Creative Inspire 3000, and iTrigue 3500 ( the Inspire 3000 were much better for my personal taste than the I Trigues ) and after a few years I decided to buy Logitech’s Z 323 for my kitchen and bearing in mind that these are computer speakers, I was and I am very pleased with it. With the right equalization – my AIMP 3 media player has a 18 band graphic equalizer – the sound I can extract from the 323 is quite amazing, considering these are not HIFI speakers, and they are not meant to be. Far away from that. It’s a small system – 30 watts.
For a larger room, I decided to buy these Z 623 and again, knowing that I cannot compare the sound and audio fidelity with my main stereo system, I must say I am impressed, especially when the source either came from an Asus Netbook or my Samsung laptop! And again, with the right equalization from the AIMP 3 media player, sound is robust, bass well placed, mid’s and highs in the right place. Probably the mids are sometimes a bit too evident and harsh, but again, a graphic equalizer can “neutralize” that issue. If we know how to handle this.
Sometimes I connect the system to a Philips Ariaz MP3 player, and the sound, not being as rich as from the computers, especially on the high frequencies ( the Ariaz only has a 5 band graphic equalizer ), I would say...I was still impressed.
From classic music, jazz and rock, these speakers do not stop to impress me, and I have paid 100 euros. Again, I never compare the sound of these with my main stereo system, but I am really impressed with these Z623, its power and how it handles sound frequencies so nicely.
The satellites are well made, although being plastic, but with a nice feeling/touch, and the sub is heavy, solid and well built.
The on/off button is a little fiddly but knowing that, I am careful with it.
Could I get a better performer ? Probably yes, probably not, but for sure, not for this price.
I am very pleased and I strongly recommend the Z623 system!

Robust, clear and pronounced bass definition.
Date:01 December 2012
There are numerous computer speaker setups, and for many customers the quality of the audio needs to match a level of value considering the price. These speakers provide a level of quality someone would probably expect from a much higher price point. The bass is rich, deep and intense. It does not distract or take away from the music. You could probably use this setup to DJ a party in a small environment. The atmosphere is consumed by how beautiful the audio is represented through these speakers.
Granted the speakers lack only ever so slightly in the mid-range which can be corrected with some fine EQ work. Regardless, these blow away nearly any other setup until you hit a price point nearly double what these speakers will cost you. The value that this setup represents is unbelievable and will bring joy to anyone who chooses to listen to their favorite playlist from this 2.1 setup. That subwoofer becomes infectious.
Enjoy your music on a much different level with these speakers. They are well worth the money.

Better Than Bose and much less costly.
Date:20 October 2012
I returned my Bose sounddock and bought these. 10/10. I currently have them in my residence room and they shake the place. They dont get fuzzy (THX certified) when they're loud. Highly recommend.

Amazing speakers!
Date:25 July 2012
I bought these speakers a couple of weeks ago, and I have used these heavily and I can safely say that these speakers are the best and most powerful speakers for £100. Someone mentioned that their power button is loose, and although mine is too I don't get any of the cutting problems that he/she does. The bass shakes everything, the speakers are extremely loud and so far I haven't found a volume were the speakers distort... I would recommend these speakers to anyone and everyone!

Very happy.... BUT!
Date:10 May 2012
Love the speakers, fantastic sound, amazing bass from the huge sub. (Which doesn't over power the music!) I've herd of the bass overpowering everything else but hasn't really been the case with me.
Nice and simple controls, easy to set up, straightforward.
But! The power on/off button is "loose" in a sense, it wobbles and cuts out unless it's perfectly placed. Aside from that, fantastic purchase that im over joyed with!!!

Z623 Successor is for real

I used to be a loyal Logitech Z-2300 listener and this is definitely comparable if you're not blasting at full volume. I really recommend these speakers to get the best bang for your buck

Logitech Z632 - Swiss quality
Date:07 November 2011
Guys, i bought this set today, first I was worried due to the price, which is extremely cheap. I unboxed them set them up in minutes, and listened to rap and dubstep. Guys these speakers are amazing, the satellites are made of plastic but don't feel flimsy, instead i suppose i can hit a rock against it without breaking. The sound quality is amazing, incredible highs, nice lows , and a bass which is precise and shook my appartement so hard that my neighbors cam to complain. I bought three logitech products so far (Anywhere Mouse MX, UE 200vi) I suggest logitech products to anyone... Logitech - Swiss quality

Soundsticks, eat your heart out!
Date:01 April 2011
OMG I love these speakers!
They are a replacement for an NXT 2.1 Speaker set I bought in 2003, they were getting old and flat (ignore the pun), so an upgrade was in order.
After the 5 minute unboxing and painless setup i decided to stick some music on, and there's nothing that these don't do justice, Gerschwin, Bach or Lady Gaga, it all sounds perfectly clear, the bass is sharp and deep, the sub is almost as big as the PC it's plugged in to, but the bass reflects this, (don't put anything next to the hole on the side, it blew my router clean off the shelf). I bought these because we use them at work in a computer store and they always need turning down and seemed quite clear, but once at home they sounded even better.
I'd been humming and hawing about buying a set of Harman Cardons for a year, but these surpass them big time, better bass, better volume and the highs are exquisite!
Thank You Logitech, yet another of your products to grace my desk and be loved!

Beautiful Sound
Date:12 March 2011
Fills my entire house with crisp clear sound. Bottom end bangs, HARD (can easily turn the sub down for quieter listening), satellites deliver crisp clear mid-tones and wailing highs*. Movies, music and games sound great on these speakers.
Only con I have is the lack of treble control.
Four stars cuz there's always room for improvement.
