It's been almost 8 years now and my MX510 is still going strong. Rear left foot came off about two months ago, but that's my only "complaint". I'd change one thing about the materials used, though. Heavy use resulted in polish in places where the thumb and pinky connect with the mouse. The surface acquired a higher coefficient of friction, which greatly helps claw grip users. I think you should consider releasing the product with the "sculpted" parts polished from the get go. The way it is now, I can hold the mouse in the air by applying hardly any force to hold the mouse with my fingers.

Fantastic Mouse

I wanted to get a mouse for gaming, and... well everything else, but without forking out a ridiculous amount of money.
This mouse offers just that, and I really see no difference between this and a more expensive rival counterpart, a statement to which many of my colleagues and friends agree with. In terms of gaming, everything just fits nicely, the buttons are not too hard or soft, the thumb buttons enable that much quicker reaction (I have one for melee which has saved me countless times) as well as the scroll wheel being very easy to obtain the desired roll count (so for those of you that make use of it, no more accidental "over-rolling"). Included as well are 3 sensitivity buttons: one for default, and the other two for increase/decrease (maximum 4 values can be set, will explain later) so if you desire more accurate sniping after a different play style, simply press and start.
As you can view the hardware specs yourself, you'll see this is nothing short of excellent. But what I really admire by Logitech is their software (free download) which enables full customization of this mouse (and other products, in one package) which -in turn- enables multiple profiles (attached to different .exes for automatic changes, but can be set manually). Each profile supports personal sensitivity, polling rate, and advanced options such as separate Y/X axis sensitivity among many other things. A really fantastic bundle.
As someone who makes use of games, graphical applications, and many other precision-required programs, I really can not recommend this product more.

I love this mouse!

I must say, I bought this mouse without any reviews, at my local Best Buy. I got it home, and noticed how much more sensitive and accurate it was compared to my last mouse.
I really enjoy this mouse. I game (maybe a little too much) on my PC, and this mouse keeps up with anything that I throw at it.
I have had it since December (so, about 4 months now), and have not come across any type of hardware malfunction.
The only thing that I have a problem with this device is the buttons to change the sensitivity. As much as I like to be able to change it on the fly, it does become a challenge to try and use the wheel and accidently push the sensitivity up or down.
Besides that, it is just what I was looking for!

After two months of regular mice use at work left click loose and now its allways something foling and crackle inside. It's very annoying and looks like this is and of using that mice. But anyway the weel is too hard to push and shape of mice is so unconfortable i still can't used to it and feel pain in hand every day... Where does go old good logitech mice?
