I have the excellent wireless solar K750 keyboard and needed a replacement mouse. I went for the m345 because it was cheap, portable (good to use on the move as well as at home) and with the unifying receiver it would work with my keyboard.
The top of the mouse is shiny black plastic which unfortunately shows finger marks and smears. The power switch (underneath) prevents accidental use when stored in a rucsac for example. The left and right rocker switches on the wheel are useful for quick back/forward navigation.
Unfortunately, for me at least, the problem with this mouse is the wheel - it is notchless, so when you spin the wheel it doesn't click into the next position. This means that it is very difficult to be accurate when scrolling through a document, web page or presentation. The notchless wheel is also so sensitive that when you take your finger off the wheel it scrolls the screen up or down. It even scrolls occasionally just when you move the mouse (with the tiny amount of inertia moving the scroll wheel).
I'm bemused as to why they couldn't have used a notched design, but the upshot is that for me this mouse is too frustrating to use long term!
Perhaps Logitech will release an updated driver that addresses this problem, or perhaps I just chalk this one up to experience and buy another, probably more expensive rodent.

This mouse is very cool if you get it below 20 bucks. I got it in GBP17 from Amazon.
